GROUP SESSION VIDEO

This semester in Group focuses on the topic of Faith:  What Faith Is, taught by our friend, Keith Moore of Faith Life Church in Branson, Missouri and Sarasota, Florida.

CONVERSATION QUESTIONS

The below questions serve as a guide to conversation. Select those which you feel will spark conversation, depth and growth in understanding.

  1. Teaching tonight asked the question “what makes us unstable?” The answer is “being unsure.” Can you remember a time you felt “unsure” of God’s will for your life concerning provision, protection, healing, etc.? Explain.
  2. Hebrews 6:19 says it is impossible for God to lie and that this hope is the anchor to our souls. Our soul is where we have challenges, (the thoughts and feelings that come to our mind). Does what we say, what we listen to, what we watch affect our souls (our mind, will and emotions)? How have you experienced this in your own life?
  3. Romans says Abraham was fully persuaded  that God would do what He promised. We don’t know everything, but if we see it in Gods Word we need to be fully persuaded that God means it. Why is it easy to believe salvation is God’s will for us, but other things seem harder to be fully persuaded? What are some things in God's provision that seem easy to be fully persuaded about? What are some things in God's provision that you have a hard time being persuaded about? What makes these experiences different?

PRAYER

(Encourage others to pray, gaining confidence in public prayer in a safe environment)

EXAMPLE PRAYER:  Heavenly Father, we thank you for your amazing Words to us tonight. We ask that you stir us up this week with what we have learned here tonight and on Sunday, bring this up to us this week and help us to be fully persuaded of all yo have for us. In Jesus Name, Amen
