Deaf Ears Opened - Leon, Mexico

We just had a group come down for our church anniversary celebration. We saw God move in miraculous ways while the group was here. One of our crusades was in one of the colonia churches we work with. During this particular night there was an invitation given for certain infirmities as the Holy Spirit moved through the congregation. The call was given for anyone with a hearing problem. One young lady answered that call and came forward. She had been completely deaf for 6 years. Pastor Patrick Norris from LifePointe church was ministering. As he laid hands on her ears, after a couple of minutes she all of a sudden broke down crying and buried her head in her hands as she sobbed uncontrollably.

Her ears had opened!... She testified later that at first, she heard someone calling her name. Interestingly, at that particular moment, no one had called her name…. Pastor Patrick had her turned with her back towards him and he was quietly whispering, “Can you hear me? Can you hear me?”…

That’s not what she heard, she heard someone calling her by name… and in the first few seconds she was convinced that Jesus was calling her name several times…. then a few moments later she heard Pastor Patrick talking…  6 years without a sound, 6 years of complete silence, unable to hear… but in the span of a couple of minutes, she could hear again. Absolutely amazing! God is so good!.... that was one of many miracles that evening, and one of many many more throughout the crusade nights we hosted with the group. We love groups and we love to see what God is going to do while they are here, as they make themselves available for a powerful move of the Holy Spirit.
