LifePointe Church has been asked by Joel Osteen and Lakewood Church to partner with Pastor Joel & Victoria Osteen for a Night of Hope in Kansas City, Missouri on January 5th, 2018!  We are honored and thrilled to have this opportunity, and have invited other churches here in Greater Kansas City hosting this evening. We count it a privilege to be able to serve and love others as well as help people take the next step in their spiritual journey.

We anticipate 70% of our audience to stand in response to Joel’s clear call to faith (about 8,400+/- can be expected to respond). If you have never been to a Night of Hope, or if you have heard negative street talk about Joel, you really owe it to yourself and the Kingdom of God to witness this for yourselves.

We plan to host a very special guest speaker the Sunday following the Friday Night of Hope (, giving us an incredible “harvest” opportunity to gain new LifePointe members.

The Night of Hope Kansas City

takes place on January 5th, 2018, at 7:30pm at the Sprint Center.

  • VOLUNTEERS:  We need volunteers for Greeters, Ushers and Retail Workers (free tickets). Sign up at
  • PURCHASE GROUP TICKETS:  Some of you may want to attend, but desire to sit with extended family and friends. We will order a batch of LifePointe tickets for those who prefer not to Volunteer, but want to sit in a LifePointe group section. This is a great option if you want your personal family, elementary to youth children, or extended friends and family, to sit with you. These tickets are $20 per ticket.

Unfortunately, many people have seen social media criticisms and/or street talk questioning Joel. Tina and I have known of Joel, his Dad, and extended family for many years. Joel’s Dad, John, was a platform preacher-mentor to us. We have been in Joel’s home on a few occasions, and have many close friends who work with the Osteens. If Joel and Victoria were unknown we would count it an honor to be their friends, as they are some of the kindest, most sincere, innocent-hearted people we have ever known.

As you can imagine, there are massive amounts of fake news and wrong information that are circulated as truth about him. Because we have a close-up view - generally knowing how they made their money, to why they have a nice house, to why he dodges ethical-doctrine questions in TV interviews, to what really happened at Lakewood Church during the Houston floods - we are deeply saddened by the enemy’s perpetrating of untruths.

We vet our public partnerships and carry convictions that must align with the doctrines of ancient Christianity. If you have hesitations of any kind about Joel, feel free to reach out to me and have a healthy conversation as to why we support him and events like the Night of Hope. You might be surprised by the real Joel.

At LifePointe, we focus on relevant teaching, heartfelt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for others. Whether you’ve never been to church or are looking for a place to call home, you are welcome here. We invite you to join us every Sunday service. We believe that if you give us a full year of Sundays and Groups at LifePointe, Jesus will change your life forever!

If you want to be part of all God is doing at LifePointe, we invite you to become a member by attending our START TRACK.

The START TRACK is a four step ONLINE MasterClass process. You will be assigned a START TRACK HOST to answer questions and help you along the journey. After STEP FOUR you will have the option to join the church.

The LifePointe START TRACK guides you to discover your redemptive purpose and live the life God created for you. The Start Track is made up of four steps that equip you to:

  • STEP ONE:  Connect to God and the church
  • STEP TWO:  Find freedom in growing relationships
  • STEP THREE:  Discover meaning in Bible training
  • STEP FOUR:  Use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others

The LifePointe START TRACK is a spiritual journey, as well as LifePointe’s membership process. Everyone desiring to be a member of LifePointe Church is required to graduate all four steps in the process.

Water baptism is a public profession of your heart-felt faith in Jesus Christ. We call it "going public," and we offer regular baptisms the first Sundays of each month during our worship experiences. We love hearing about the life changes that happen as people come to know Jesus and declare it to the world!

People often have questions regarding baptism: Why should I be baptized? I've already been baptized. Do I have to do it again? Does it matter if someone is sprinkled or dunked?

We have a short 17-minute special video teaching on the topic of baptism. We desire that everyone wanting to be baptized watch it so you can prepare your heart for the powerful occasion. The video can be watched at .

Water Baptisms are planned every 1st Sundays of the month during/in the second worship service. If someone has registered prior to that Sunday the baptism pool will be prepared and ready for any additional baptism candidates. If we have no one registered prior to the 1st Sunday then the pool will not be prepared until the following month.

Please complete the water baptism registration HERE to get the process started. You will be notified by our administrative team to confirm the dates and provide any additional water baptism details.

Note: We water baptize adults and children 10 years old and older. For children under 10 years, we encourage a child dedication, which is a spiritual commitment to raise up our children before the Lord. We offer these several times a year. For child dedications contact our offices at . Any child, no matter what the age, that is mature enough to understand their decision to receive Jesus, is qualified for water baptism.

For more information on baptisms, please e-mail .
