SERIES BIO:  The Biblical narrative implies that a normal relationship with God includes miracle interventions. This is promised through Jesus' teachings, creating a vision that "all things are possible" to those who walk with God. If the miraculous, rising above even impossible situations, is the normative for the Christian, then how are we to activate such realities? How are we to encounter God, live in greater freedom and see Bible-level miracles happen for us? This Sunday we begin a several week series of teachings that will inspire, impact and infuse God's great heart of hope.

MATTHEW 17:20 NKJV [Jesus said] …for assuredly, I say to you, if you have FAITH AS A MUSTARD SEED, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU.

MARK 9:23 NKJV Jesus said to him, "If you can BELIEVEALL THINGS [ARE] POSSIBLE to him who BELIEVES."

HEBREWS 4:1-3 TPT Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in CONFIDENT FAITH. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all EMBRACE THE FULLNESS of that PROMISE and NOT FAIL TO EXPERIENCE IT. 2 For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet THEY DIDN’T JOIN THEIR FAITH WITH THE WORD. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted. 3 For those of us who believe, FAITH ACTIVATES THE PROMISE and we EXPERIENCE the realm of confident rest!

NUMBERS 13:17-33 NIV 30 Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, “We should go up and TAKE POSSESSION of the land, for we can certainly do it.” 31 But the men who had gone up with him SAID, “WE CAN'T attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they spread among the Israelites a BAD REPORT (KJV – “EVIL REPORT”) about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored DEVOURS those living in it. All the PEOPLE WE SAW there are of GREAT SIZE. 33 … We seemed like GRASSHOPPERS in our own eyes, and WE LOOKED THE SAME TO THEM.”

  • VERSE 30 - KJVLet us go up at once, and POSSESS IT; for WE ARE WELL ABLE to overcome it.

NUMBERS 14:1 NIV That night ALL THE PEOPLE of the community raised their VOICES AND WEPT ALOUD. 2 ALL THE ISRAELITES GRUMBLED against Moses and Aaron… 10 But the WHOLE ASSEMBLY TALKED ABOUT STONING THEM. Then the glory of the Lord appeared at the Tent of Meeting to all the Israelites. 11 The Lord said to Moses, “How long will these people TREAT ME WITH CONTEMPT? How long will they REFUSE TO BELIEVE IN ME (KJV – “DESPISE ME”)…?24 But because MY SERVANT CALEB has a DIFFERENT SPIRIT and FOLLOWS ME WHOLEHEARTEDLY, I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will inherit it…

  1. The PROMISED LAND is a symbol of God’s greatest blessings.
  2. There will be OPPOSITION to receiving God’s promises.
  3. Don’t follow POPULAR OPINION when it opposes God’s Word.
  4. Cut the “DRAMA” and ask, “What did God say?”
  5. A DIFFERENT SPIRIT will create a different outcome.
  6. The FAITH PROCESS PROMOTES you to better opportunities.
  7. YOU can limit God, or YOU can turn God’s power loose.

Psalm 78:41 KJV Yea, they TURNED BACK and TEMPTED GOD, and LIMITED the Holy One of Israel.
